The objectives of INDE are to help people or communities to strengthen their capacity to decide of their way of life, to bring them material conditions necessary to a life worthy of human dignity, to guarantee fundamental rights to democracy, education, culture, to strive for social change. INDE helps excluded or marginalized communities, victims of discrimination, victims of the consequences of conflicts and victims of social and economic organizations that does not take into account their rights.
